Dianna “Gail” Lopez, 66, of Amarillo, TX passed away on August 13, 2021.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Arena of Life Church, 8827 S. Washington.

Gail was born on April 29, 1955, to Charles and Zelda Kilman in Amarillo, TX. She graduated from Caprock High School in 1973 and was a life-long resident in Amarillo, TX.

Gail was a manicurist, phlebotomist at BSA, she was a nursery volunteer at her church, an Interim Hospice volunteer, and a friendly Sam’s Club greeter. She was full of life, love, and the Holy Spirit. She loved her family, friends, church, and her dog Winston. Gail enjoyed shopping, planting flowers, cooking, and going to see her grandkids sporting and school events. She was so friendly that she always knew someone wherever she went. Gail will be truly missed and always remembered and loved. We will forever miss her comforting spirit, hugs, and her beautiful smile.

She was preceded in death by her newborn son, Joshua; her parents, Charles and Zelda Kilman; and her brother-in-law, Gary Adams.

She leaves behind her two sons, Shane Kilman and wife Christy, and Matthew Lopez and wife Veronica; grandchildren, Drake and Emma Kilman, and Aaron, Julia, Hannah, Lucas, and Grace Lopez; sisters, Debbie Seibel and husband Dave, Peggy Kilman, and Sandy Adams; aunts and uncles, Barney and Sue Spurgeon, Roger and Barbara Hobbs, and Sheila Gann; and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces. All of Gail’s friends were also family to her.

  1. Gail always had the most beautiful smile and a heart to match. She doted on her family, and loved talking about her grandkids and their wonderful exploits in sports. My thoughts and prayers to the Kilman and Lopez family. I will be missing this sweet neighbor, but won’t ever forgot her.

  2. My thoughts and prayers to the Kilman and Lopez family. She always had a smile and a strong hug for all that knew her. She was my first manicurist and always had a hoot at the shop. May you rest in peace until we see each other again.

  3. Gail will be missed by so many!! She touched so many lives in such a positive way. She radiated her faith and love for the Lord. I will be forever grateful the loving hugs and healing prayers she gave me over the past years, when they were needed the most. Growing up she was my sister too! All my love and prayers to her loving family!

  6. I loved Gail dearly she was my dear friend since the day I met her 20 yrs ago. Always there no matter what the circumstances. Gail My Dear Sweet Friend you will be forever in my heart❤️❤️😘

  11. Gail was a kind, sweet & always smiling person. I went to high school with her but I really got to know Gail when she worked at BSA. She was always smiling & kind. The I would see her at SAMs at the door. Then when I worked at Toot ‘N Totum on Washington St, she would come in to get her sunday half price coffee on her way to church. Gail I’m so glad I got to know you and I know you are in a better place! Fly high sweet lady. RIP Gail…. I’ll see you when I see you again!

  12. My most wonderful friend!!! I will miss you tremendously! I looked for you at Sam’s last week as I always did when I went there , which was all the time! You were always so friendly & loving you made me feel special! I will remember our time at caprock & know you will be at the reunion in spirit! I love you!
