Joetta Faye Kelsay, 76, of Amarillo, TX passed away on August 29, 2021.

Private family services will be held.

Joetta was born in Rural, OK on August 19, 1945, to Leona and Franklin Margan.

Joetta was married to Larry Filmore Kelsay. She had four children, was a nurse, enjoyed working in the yard, and was very family-oriented. Joetta attended church every Sunday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Kelsay; daughter, Julie Woods; and grandson, Dallas McBeth.

She is survived by her sons, Danny Kelsay and his wife Candy Burns, Vernon McBeth, and Greg McBeth and his wife Elizabeth McBeth; grandchildren, Michael Kelsay and his wife Marie, Brandon Kelsay, Shelby Kelsay, Joni Granados, Mark McBeth, Jocilyn Jennings, Tristian McBeth, Natasha McBeth, Jasmyn McBeth, Amy McBeth, and Sarah McBeth.

    I have been looking for her for 5 years wondering what happened to her she was one of my favorite sisters theirs only 4 of us left. My heart goes out to her family. She will be

  2. Greg I’m so sorry for your loss . I know you probably don’t have much to say to me but you’ve always been my brother since we met bout the 5th grade I guess I’ve loved your family like they were my own for alot of years hell damn near all my life I loved your sister very much and still do always will no matter what. I had a lot of RESPECT and LOVE for your momma too she taught me so many things in my life she without a doubt was very devoted to all of you kids and she was good to me as well, I will miss her a great deal. Stay strong my brother.

  3. Joetta also was the youngest of 13 kids.
    She was raised up on a farm in chillicothe texas.
    She loved her kids so very much and always put them 1 st. She never drank or smoked. She enjoyed giving more than receiveing..
    I am sure she is up there now with her husband Larry and her daughter Julie drinking ice tea
    They don’t make woman like her anymore.
    She was one in a million.
