Dennis Kellogg

Dennis Kellogg, 79, of Amarillo, TX died Friday, September 18, 2020.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Paramount Baptist Church with Lance Herrington officiating.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Dennis was born July 16, 1941, in Denver, CO to Eugene Jerold and Doris Kellogg.

Most of all, Dennis will be remembered for his ability to tell a tale. Dennis enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. His love of cooking was known far and wide. He entered cooking contests of all kinds. He was world famous for his peanut brittle he cooked each Christmas season and was family famous for his cream cheese and dried beef pinwheels. When the girls were young the family enjoyed Jeeping with a Jeep group.

Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Lindegren and her husband Jason and Jennifer Kellogg and her fiance Walter Brockman, both of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Joshua Risner, Berkley Risner, Jon Risner, Christopher Lindegren, Austin Lindegren, and Sean Lindegren, Tarek Erwin, and Zalen Erwin; and several nieces and nephews.

  5. We share so many memories with these precious friends from high school through the years as our families traveled and played together and time flew by. They lived their faith and loved fellowship with family and friends. Your family is truly blessed and we are blessed to have been part of their lives. Our love and prayers are with you.   7. We will certainly miss our great camping cook, yarn spinner and good buddy, Dennis (and of course, Linda). We don’t have enough fingers and toes to count the incredible good times we all enjoyed on Elm Creek, Little Cross Ranch, Texas. Unforgettable is the time when our daughter’s dog Pharaoh found solace in Dennis’ lap as the future Daniel Boones practiced shooting out in the plowed field We look forward to seeing Dennis and Linda when we again meet in heaven.
