Brian Erwin Lummus, 55, of Amarillo, TX died July 16, 2020.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 20, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel in Dumas, TX, with Pastor Doug Gehm, Sr. from Grace Church officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox Ave.

Brian was born to Bill and Sarah Lummus.

Survivors include his mother, Sarah; son, Brice E. Lummus; stepsons, Kyle Ledford, Patrick Ledford, and Jason Dillard; sisters, Vanessa Cardwell and husband Lee, Tonya Wills, and Lynne De La Rosa and husband Raymond; several grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Bella.

Our Brian conquered demons-his courage inspired all of us. The Lord took him home-no more suffering.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to My Next Step, 4515 Cornell St., Amarillo, TX 79109, www.mynextstepllc.com/donation.

  2. To my dear friend, Tonya, Mother, Sarah and rest of family. I am so sorry to hear this news. Seems it wasn’t long ago that Tonya told me the diagnosis.   4. My Beautiful Sweet Family, I am so incredibly sad that I cannot be there with you all. It is Amazing how quickly things can change. Brian is with Granny and Papa and Uncle Bill and all the rest of our family. I am sure there are lots of hugs and hellos going on! God Bless You All and know in Spirit, we are still together.
