Gayle Janeway Roberson of Fort Worth, TX formerly of Borger, TX passed from this life Thursday, September 24, 2020, at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX. She was 81.
Gayle was born June 2, 1939, in Wichita Falls, TX to Orren L Janeway and Mary G. Whiteside Janeway. She had lived most of her life in Borger, TX, and graduated from Borger High School and Frank Phillips College. She worked as a Senior Buyer for Phillips Petroleum Company for over 31 years. She was a member of Wedgewood Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX.
Gayle was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Janeway and her husband Benjamin C. Roberson.
Gayle is survived by her 2 sons, Scott Adamie and wife Shelly Adamie of Aledo, TX, Kurt Adamie of Mission Viejo, CA, and 2 grandchildren.  She had 3 stepchildren, Ben Roberson of Bartlesville, OK, Candy Lanyi and husband Gary Lanyi of Choctaw, OK, Tyler Roberson of Tampa, FL, and 3 step-grandchildren. She had 5 siblings, Joe Janeway of Borger, TX, Bill Janeway and wife Debbie Janeway of Blossom, TX, John Janeway and wife Judy Janeway of Fairview, TX, Mary Brain and husband Allen Brain of Amarillo, TX, and Jan Calhoun and husband Marty Calhoun of Amarillo, TX.
At Gayle’s request, no services will be held. Memorials may be made in Gayle’s name to the Gideons International Bible Donation Project.  Gayle will be laid to rest with her loving husband Ben Roberson in Dewey, OK.
Hello. I do not have contact information for Gayle’s family, but was wondering if I could pass along my information so that they could reach out to me. It has been a few years since my son and I saw Gayle and I would love to hear the story of what we missed. As well as share my condolences.
