Jimmy Brown

 

Jimmy Brown, 88, of Adrian, TX passed away on January 27, 2022.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Memorial Park Cemetery at Vega, with Bob Miller officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Jimmy was born in Adrian, TX on February 3, 1933, to Ruth and Floyd Brown. He graduated from Adrian High School and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree from West Texas State University. Jimmy farmed and ranched his entire life. He enjoyed flying and shooting trap. He was an avid piano player.

Jimmy was a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo, TX.

Survivors include his son, Jody Brown, MD, of Houston, TX, and brother, Billy Don Brown and Elizabeth, of Adrian, TX.
