Kathryn Anne (Kathy) Gray Clark, 66, of Edmond, OK and formerly of Amarillo, Tx passed away on June 27, 2021, in Edmond, OK.

A visitation will be held from 6 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. A celebration of life service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2021, at St. Stephen United Methodist Church.

Kathy is survived by her loving fiancé, Nolan Welborn of Edmond, OK; her children, Jeffery (Betsy) Clark of Missouri City, TX, and Christy Cox (Tyler) of Amarillo, TX; and grandchildren Caden, Ella, and Maddie Clark, and Cooper and Andi-Mae Cox. Kathy is also survived by her siblings Jan (Tom) Panger, Joan (Roger) Puckett of Amarillo, TX, and Bill (Jennifer) Gray of Edmond, OK, and many extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 43 years, Randy.

Kathy was born January 6, 1955, in Fort Worth, TX to Bill and Bettye Gray.

She attended schools in Arlington, TX and graduated from Pampa High School in 1973. She married Randall (Randy) Clark in 1973 and together they owned a successful Farmers Insurance Agency in Amarillo, TX retiring in 2018.

Kathy was a member at St. Stephens United Methodist Church. She had the voice of an angel and sang for many years in the St. Stephen’s adult choir and was a member of One Spirit singing group with her sisters.

She will be forever remembered as a loving and devoted mother, sister, friend, and especially Nana.

Memorials can be directed to St. Stephen United Methodist Church in her name.

  1. So very sorry to learn of Kathy’s passing! Randy & Kathy were very close to us raising our youngest son playing baseball from grade school! Lots of great times! So sorry we didn’t know sooner!

  2. I was very sad to here of Kathy today sorry that I missed the service. So please accept my deepest condolences and rich prayers. I knew Kathy as a colleague for 17 years she was consummate professional, always kind and willing to help me with questions as a new agent.   3. I did not know Kathy, but I know her two sisters. And by the comments here, angelic voices run in the family. I know your hearts are heavy but we know that Kathy is in the arms of Jesus. And in that you, and we, can take great comfort and peace. My deepest condolences to you all.

  6. I loved Kathy with all my heart. She became an instant friend. We spent many a day driving the dune buggies in Port Aransas, Texas. I miss her but know I will hug her again one day with our Lord. I love you Kathy.

  7. I spent many happy years standing next to Kathy in the soprano section in choir in Pampa. Your description of her having the voice of an angel is so correct! I’m sorry, family, for your loss for it was way too soon! Praying that the God of All Comfort will surely comfort you all as you are separated for a time.

  9. My sweet sister was one of my best friends as well as my big sister who was always there for me. I loved her dearly and will miss her tremendously. I have peace in knowing she is with Jesus now..
