Linda Ellen Odneal, 76, of Amarillo, TX died Monday, October 21, 2019.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Jeff Ponder, pastor of The Church at Bushland, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Linda was born February 5, 1943, in Sayre, OK to John and Frankie Thompson. She graduated from Palo Duro High School. Linda married the love of her life, Lee Roy Odneal on June 10, 1961, in Amarillo. She loved to read and spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Melinda Thompson; and husband Lee Roy Odneal.
Survivors include a brother, John H. Thompson, Jr., of Lake Jackson, TX; three sons, Daniel Odneal, and Robert Odneal and wife Cinda, all of Amarillo, and Johnny Odneal and wife Edie, of Tulia, TX; grandchildren, Jacqualyn, Samantha, Braidi, Kaitlyn, and Jonathan, all of Tulia, and Bailee, of Amarillo; and one great-grandchild, Evyn, also of Tulia.
The family suggests memorials to Gracie’s Project, 10850 I-40 Frontage Rd, Amarillo, TX 79124; or to Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation, 2901 N Soncy, Amarillo, Texas 79124.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at the funeral home.
