Born on February 13, 1970, Michael DeWayne Molden was called to his heavenly home on September 7, 2021. A native of Amarillo, TX, Michael was the son of parents, Janice Molden Sims and Chuck Richards.
Michael was a graduate of Tascosa High School in Amarillo. He had an excellent work ethic and was a firm believer in strong family bonds. He made a practice of uplifting others with daily phone texts of encouragement, and he regularly called to check on friends and family, especially his elderly relatives.
Michael was the proud father of a son, Joshua Jacob Molden. His love for his son was evidenced by the many photographs of the two of them that he shared with everyone.
Michael DeWayne Molden is preceded in death by his grandmother, Marjorie Sue Harris, grandfather, Reginald Molden, and his uncle Herbert Williams.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Jacob Molden; his mother, Janice Molden Sims; father, Chuck Richards; sister, Valyrie Smith; and brother Timothy Tyrone Hall, all of Amarillo, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Michael will be missed dearly by us all.
The family sincerely appreciates all the many heartfelt prayers and condolences, the flowers, and the food. Thank you and God bless.
