Patsy A. Burch “Pat”, 82, was peacefully called home to be with Jesus on September 23rd, 2021, at her home in Amarillo, Texas.

Pat was born on April 24th, 1939. Pat was the beloved wife and best friend of her one and only love of 61 years, Richard Burch of Amarillo, Texas. They married on June 3, 1960. Pat loved the Lord and never missed an opportunity to be with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at any of their life events. Pat was loved by everyone who met her and will be missed dearly every day.

She was preceded in death by son-in-law, Bernie Gutierrez; and grandchild, Brandi Leake.

Devoted mother of Terri Gutierrez, Cheryl Koetting and husband Neil, Kenny Burch and wife Dora, and Keith Burch. Loving grandmother to 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Oasis (Southwest Baptist Church). Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

    I’m so sorry to hear of your loss
    I just learned of Pat’s death or I would have certainly been at either the visitation and or services
    We’ve certainly watched a lot of ballgames together children and grandchildren dating back to Southlawn days

  2. I was blessed to have known Pat. She always had a smile and helped raised more than her own four children. She was so kind to everyone she met. I know she will be dearly missed by all. My condolences and prayers go out to the entire Burch family. God Bless, Robby Coon

  3. I personally did not meet Mrs Burch, but my dad, Everett Green, worked for Mr. Burch for alit of years and I remember him saying that she was a very nice lady. Kenny and Keith, I’m so very sorry for you all and your dad’s loss. I know how it feels to lose your mom, and then I lost my dad. But I pray Gods speed will heal your hearts. Thinking about you be all. God bless all.

  4. I was fortunate to have met and known this beautiful lady. She was such a sweet lady always there for her kids and grandkids. Thank you Kenny and Dora for introducing me to such a beautiful soul.

  5. Pat was a wonderful person one of a few I ever met that was to make you feel so relaxed easy to talk to. She was very sweet, kind, loving. We always had great talks I enjoyed our talks about everything. Very devoted to God. Love Pat Pool

  6. Pat always made me feel relaxed easy to talk to and one a few that I’ve ever met that was always so kind sweet and loving! I looked forward to the talks we had when we were together. Wonderful person you really missed out by not knowing her!!
