Robert “Bob” Brice Stevenson, 74, of Amarillo, TX died September 26, 2020 after a brave unselfish battle.

Bob was born on March 16, 1946, in Taft, CA to Robert Wade and Maudie Leverett Stevenson. He moved with his family all over including Oklahoma and them Roswell, NM, where he graduated from Roswell High School. He attended Eastern New Mexico University. Bob began his career for Glover Packing Plants in Roswell, working there for eleven years. He then worked for Chemtron Corporation as a salesman. After that, he began his own companies including Kinetic Equipment and Boldt Industries to serve the needs of the meat packing and food industry. He spent twenty-one years in Plano, TX and moved to Amarillo, TX in 2000. After his retirement, he pursued many endeavors.

Bob had a passion for motorcycle racing and loved supporting his family in this sport. He was a family man and supported his children in whatever they did. He was referred to as “PaPa” by his grandkids as well as their friends.

Bob is survived by his dedicated wife of 46 years, Susan Matthews Stevenson, of Amarillo, TX; five children, Kenneth Carter (Rachael Brabham), of Conroe, TX, Matt Stevenson, of Amarillo, TX, Micah Stevenson (Keri Fechner Stevenson), of Amarillo, TX, Toby Stevenson (Joo Hee Lee), of Moore, OK, and Emily Stevenson, of Amarillo, TX; and five grandchildren, Brice Stevenson, Reagan Stevenson, Keara Parker, and Dalton Christian, and Aiden Carter.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
