Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2021, at Comanche Trail Church of Christ with Loren Harper, minister officiating. Terry asked that he be cremated and have his ashes spread close to his mom, whom he adored and has missed every day since she passed, and also in Pikes Peak, Colorado – one of his most favorite places.

Terry was born on June 5, 1951, in Amarillo, TX, to James and Mary Lou Miller. Terry was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and a peace officer for the years following his service. Terry was a member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle; his parents, James and Mary Lou Miller; and his brothers, Pat Miller, Jerry Miller, and Jimmy Miller.

Terry loved his children: Christy Bowerman, Christopher Miller, Kimberely Couch, Kristen Severe, and Kellie Severe.  He was the proud grandfather to Braxton Johnson, Zachary Miller, Payton Miller, Macy Bowerman, and Michael Bowerman.  He loved his great-grandson Hudsun Roberts and being the great-grandfather to the apple of his eye, Calvin Couch.

Terry was a very loving family man who honorarily adopted kids of all ages, regardless of blood relation.  He mentored people around him and was the man that many could depend on to lend an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on when they were in need.  Terry was a proud American and loyal friend to many people over the course of his life.

He will be missed by all and remembered with a smile forever.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children to benefit the Orthopedic Dept., 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, TX 75219.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors at 2800 Paramount Blvd.
