  1. I’ll never forget when Aunt Lajean sent my girls a box with a cotton plant in it since my daughters had only known island life and didn’t know cotton came from an actual plant instead of being manufactured in a factory! Aunt Lajean was always so attentive and interested in our lives, rarely focusing conversations on herself. What a beautiful lady with a beautiful heart. I miss visiting with her and Uncle Joe.
