Mikal Paredes, 28, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Rosary will be at 6:00 P.M., Monday, January 24, 2022, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Andy Gonzales officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mikal was born on September 6, 1993, in Amarillo, Texas to Ermelinda Hernandez. Mikal had a very contagious smile alone with a fun and a crazy sense of humor. He loved spending time with family. Cookouts with family and friends was something he enjoyed. He loved his friends dearly and there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for anyone of his friends. Mikal loved to travel every chance he got. Mikal also enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys. He was a hard worker as a mechanic at Amarillo Industrial Electric, Inc. His unconditional love was for his dog “Blue” who misses him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Joey Kidd in June 2005; grandparents, Roy and Mary Hernandez; uncles, Roy Hernandez Jr. and Joe Gutierrez; and his cousin, Jayda Ash.
He is survived by his mother, Erma Hernandez, of Amarillo; brother Chris Kidd, his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
