
Sue Reynolds Ball, 82, of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Sue was born November 24, 1938, in Clarendon, TX to Lloyd and Eula Reynolds. She earned her bachelor’s degree and had a career in healthcare as a registered nurse.
She spent the majority of her career as a recovery room nurse with St Anthony’s Hospital and retired from BSA in 2005.
She was preceded in death by, her husband Louis Ball; her brothers, Raymond and Don Reynolds; and her parents, Lloyd and Eula Reynolds
Survivors include her son, Don Ball of Ottawa, KS;Â her daughter, Sheila Oakley and husband Wes of Nevada, TX; Â grandson, Chris Oakley, of Nevada, TX; granddaughter, Stephanie Cramer and husband Billy of Amarillo, TX; and a brother, Bill Reynolds, of San Antonio, TX.
So sorry to just learn of Sue’s passing. She was a childhood friend and I have many memories of our times together! I caught the mumps from her because we could not stay apart! I know she is greatly missed by her family and friends! I am thankful for the time we shared as neighborhood friends!
Don and Sheila, I am so very sorry to hear of your sweet Mother’s passing. Please know how much I wish I could be there to hug you both and comfort you some in this very difficult time. She will definitely be missed by many people. I love you both. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers!
