
Patsy Pierce, 80, of Amarillo, TX passed away on December 29, 2021.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 31, 2021, at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger, TX, with Bryan Vallance officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Patsy was born in McKinney, TX on April 5, 1941, to Eva and Elgie McIntire. She graduated from Borger High School, attended Frank Phillips College, and received and associate degree in accounting from Amarillo College. She was an enrolled agent for the IRS and owned three H&R Block Offices.
She married John Pierce in 1961. Together they had three children, Angelia, Pamelia, and John.
She was preceded in death by, parents, Eva and Elgie McIntire; husband, John Pierce, Sr.; brothers, Billy McIntire, Jack McIntire, and Dale McIntire; and sister, Melba Tullos.
She is survived by children, Angelia “Angie” Kinnison and husband Kenneth, of Amarillo, TX, Pamelia “Pam” Fox and husband Bruce, of Flower Mound, TX, and John Pierce, Jr. and wife Shelly, of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Parri Heck and husband Jared, Shae Young and husband Allen, Marshall Crawford, Taylor Kirkland and husband Kyler, Kenleigh Kinnison and fiancé Chris Harrison, Kalene Worrell and husband Connor, Payton Pierce, Katelynn Hernandez and husband Cimarron, Jacob Fox, Cooper Pierce, and Andrea Pierce; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Our condolences to the family for the loss of Patsy. MaryAnn and I knew her for many years and enjoyed visiting and working with her through tax time every year. Patsy had a BIG HEART and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during these difficult times.
