Armando Leal Ballin was born on December 2, 1955, to Esteban Ballin Sr. and Esperanza Ballin in Amarillo, Texas. He passed on to his heavenly paradise on June 6, 2021.

Memorial services will be at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, June 10, 2021, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

As the baby of the family, he was spoiled by both of his parents. Growing up in “El Barrio” On Arthur Street was a cherished memory of his. He used to run the streets with his brothers Steven, Macario, and David. I’m sure his sisters Delia and Irma could tell you some stories of his quick witt and smart mouth. He attended catholic school until his father allowed him to go to public school, where he later graduated from Caprock High School. He spent 20 years of his adult life working IT at Corporate Systems. When he left there, he spent most of his time traveling to Phoenix to hang out with his sister Delia and enjoy the night life. Since nightlife and gambling were things he loved, he often went to Las Vegas where his brother Mac lived, always looking for a crazy adventure. Going to family functions was his favorite because he loved to eat. He was always the first to arrive and the last to leave with plenty of to go plates in hand. If he wasn’t enjoying the single life, you could find him in Dallas hanging with his cousins. His final years were spent working at Tejano Wild West working with his favorite nephew Fernando.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Steven and Macario.

He leaves behind his brother, David Ballin; sisters, Delia Rodriguez, Irma Arellano, and Diana Cox; nieces and nephews, Rebea Ballin, Fernando Ballin, Robert Arellano, Christina Arellano, Benny Jr. Rodriguez, Ricardo Ballin, Dianna Ballin, Isaac Arellano, Hopie Arellano, Andrew Arellano, and Jessica Rodriguez.
