Austin Caleb Gifford, age 29, passed away to his permanent home in heaven on December 31, 2020.
Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at HIS Church, 6300 Arden Rd. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
He was born in Amarillo, TX on July 3, 1991, to parents Stephanie and Andy Lemons and James Gifford.
Austin was a loving father, son, and brother. He graduated from Bushland High School and worked in construction.
To know Austin, was to love Austin. He had a heart and passion to help the lost and broken regardless of his own struggles. He had a fierce love for the Lord and never missed an opportunity to spread his knowledge of Christ. Austin could light up the darkest room, had an infectious laugh and smile, and a charismatic personality. He was obsessed with movies, popcorn, dill pickles, and his hair. He was known as an incredible athlete and “Mr. GQ” that always had hair gel and cologne easily accessible. Austin always said, “life’s a stage, so I might as well be in the center.”
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Galen Heeter.
Austin is survived by his parents, Stephanie and Andy Lemons and James Gifford; daughters, Journey, Swayze, and Trulee; grandmother, Sunnie Heeter; grandparents, Terry and Geneva Gifford, Ed and Penny Zielinski, and John Lemons; great-grandma, Jean Armstrong; brothers, Landon and wife Ashlei Gifford, Jadon Lemons, Dawson Lemons, and Kolten Tucker; sisters, Brittany and husband Braiden Cartrite, Addie Lemons, Arin Lemons, Averi Gifford, and Addison Gifford; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
