Becky Prager, 61, of Amarillo, TX died Friday, July 23, 2021.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 30, 2021, at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Murray Gossett officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Becky was born February 11, 1960, in Borger, TX to W.J. “Dub” Jr. and Gwyn Scott. She grew up in Borger and graduated from Borger High School; earned her Bachelor of Science in Education, Secondary Education from U.N.L.V. on May 19, 1994; and earned her Master of Education from Lesley University on May 21, 2001. For 19 years Becky was a seventh and eighth grade English middle school teacher in Las Vegas, NV.
Becky and her husband Louis Prager recently celebrated their forty years of marriage. They were married on July 4, 1981, at Calvary Baptist Church in Borger.
Becky was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Phi Theta Kappa, and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
She loved to crochet and write, even publishing a book called Dane’s Dinosaur, A Palo Duro Canyon Adventure. The book can be purchased at the Palo Duro Canyon Visitor Center.
Becky was loved by all of her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Louis Prager, of Amarillo, TX; two sons, Matt “Jeremy” Prager and wife Shannon, of Tifton, GA, and David Prager, of Las Vegas, NV; her mother, Gwyn Scott, of Borger, TX; four brothers, Jay Scott and wife Diane, Sam Scott and wife Dolores, Jack Scott and wife Mary, and Kevin Scott and wife Laura; two sisters, Ruth Gomez and husband Rick, and Martha DelVentura; seven grandchildren, Morgan, Serena, Brody, Connor, Murphy, Chaeli, and Dane; and many nieces and nephews.
I can’t believe she’s gone. My condolences to the family especially her husband, son and grandchildren which she adored. I taught with Rebecca at Becker MS and we were friends. I’ll miss her. So sorry for your loss.
My dear sweet Prayer family. As God has brought an angel home I know she will be missed beyond measure. You will all hold her in your lives until you get to join her in Heaven one day.

I remember Becky as one of my little sisters best friends! Becky was a lovely girl! She and Ladene Lindsey would go to church together ! They would spend nights together and go to the movies! I visited with her in Oct! She was precious and loved deeply! Rest with the Angels Becky!! You will always be remembered by many,especially me!😥❤❤
