Earl was a lifelong resident of Amarillo. He was born November 10, 1966. He passed away at home on September 11, 2021 after a lengthy illness.
 
As a young man, Earl was a competitive swimmer, beginning at age 5, swimming for the Amarillo Town Club and later for Amarillo High School.
 
He was a Master Locksmith, having started in the locksmith business at the age of 12, working with his father. He owned Amarillo Safe and Key until declining health caused him to take an early retirement.
 
Earl was a lifelong Trekkie. The first airing was in September before he was born in November. After retiring, he loved singing along to shows like America’s Got Talent and The Masked Singer.
 
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara Handley Williams, son Adrian Williams; mother, Sandra Hammons; sisters, La Nitra Graves, Susan Branum, and Shari Williams; his aunt, Brenda Baumert; Nephews, Joseph Branum, Jason Williams, and Josef Rudd; Nieces, Elizabeth Branum and Jamie Bowers; several cousins and extended family. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence Earl Williams, Jr, and grandparents, Dr. Clarence Earl Williams, Sr., Doris Evelyn Hogan Williams, Calvin Arthur Shoup and Vera Mae Couch Shoup.
 
Honorary pallbearers are Adrian Williams, Arthur Cox, Jason Williams, Josef Rudd, Joseph Branum,
Tony Branum, Charles Handley, Patrick Handley, Michael Handley, Jerry Handley, Ross Werner, and Brandon Milsap.
 
His family will remember him as a loving husband, father, son and brother.
 
A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral on October 16, 2021, at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Llano Cemetery.
