Debbie Arnold, 59, of Amarillo, died Friday, August 6, 2021.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Debbie was born on October 5, 1961, in Groom to J.C. and Mary Upton.  She graduated from Caprock High School.  She was a homemaker and loved going to the racetrack, riding motorcycles, and supporting cancer awareness and toys for tots.  She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and latch hook.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Upton; her parents-in-law, Bobby and Ruby Arnold; a brother, Tim Upton; a niece, Brittany Rodriguez; and a nephew, T.J. Upton.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Bobby Arnold; five daughters, Stephanie Turvaville and husband Bryan, Julie Collinsworth and husband Chris, Amber Kempf and A.J., Brandi Curry and husband Daniel, Ashley Bowman and husband Tyler, all of Amarillo; her mother, Mary Upton of Memphis; a sister, Cindy Horton and husband Danny of Amarillo; a brother, Casey Upton and wife Christina of Memphis; nineteen grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the American Heart Association or the American Stroke Association.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 9, 2021, from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

  2. Debbie and Bobby Arnold and their family have been our neighbors across the street for many years. Debbie and family are always helpful, kind, and friendly. They have deep love and concern for their large family and their friends. As neighbors we have prayed for each other and supported each other through the joys and trials of life.
