Dorothy Webb Kiker, 98, of Amarillo, TX died August 5, 2020.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 15, 2020, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Rev. Jared Houze officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery immediately following. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Dorothy was born on December 31, 1921, in Memphis, TN to Monroe and Alma Webb. She attended Fayette County High School in Summerville, TN where she was the school newspaper editor.  She obtained a Medical Technologist certification immediately following high school. She moved to Texarkana with Ogden after marrying in 1945 and enjoyed her time caring for people. She lived in Texarkana until Ogden passed away in 1956.

Dorothy moved to Amarillo in 1960  when she married  George Kiker. She became a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as raising 3 wonderful children. She enjoyed getting together with a group of girlfriends playing bridge and other card games. She also enjoyed canvas painting where she excelled at landscape and still life paintings. She really enjoyed her sweets including chocolate, pies, and lemon pound cake. She made sure to pass this love on to her entire family.

Dorothy was preceded in death by both parents, Monroe and Alma, sister Jane Webb, 1st husband Ogden Short (1956), and 2nd husband George Kiker (1988), son David and daughter Emily.

She is survived by daughter Kelly Kiker Beitler and husband Keith,  son Brett and wife Paige, son Michael and wife Christina, and their 2 children John Michael and Olivia, and daughter Jaimie and husband Alex Mesa. Granddaughter Jeri Lee Berryman and husband Giff Berryman,  and daughter Shalayne Berryman and fiance Austin Burns. Grandson Robbie Lightfoot. Daughter in Law Pam Kiker, son John, and wife Jennifer, and their 3 children Jack, Julianne and Jeb, son Chris and wife Kate, and their 2 children Hailey and Matt, daughter Polly and husband Spencer Gilligan and their 3 children Spencer Jr, Tildsley, and Graydon.
