Eliseo “Ellis” Flores, 76, of Amarillo, TX passed away on July 19, 2020.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 24, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Spike Maldonado officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Eliseo was born in Crowell, TX on November 5, 1943, to Elvira and Pastor Demetrio Flores. He graduated from Abilene High School. Eliseo received two Associate Degree’s from Amarillo College.

Ellis retired from the United States Postal Service and continued his true passion of being a repair technician for band instruments. He was passionate about the guitar and sharing music with others.

Ellis was a God-loving son, father, and grandfather, and provided greatly for his family. He was hard working and loved to travel. Eliseo traveled the world and enjoyed cruises.

Eliseo, the one and only true love of Jane, got her attention when he sat behind her in Sunday School and pulled her pigtails at 8 years old.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jane Flores; sister, Alejandra Lyons, of Abilene, TX; brother, Isaac Flores; sister, Esther Terrell, Arlington, TX; sister, Anita Alcorta, of Grand Prairie, TX; brother, Robert Flores, of Abilene, TX; sons, Thomas Flores and wife Katrina, of Amarillo, TX, and Anthony Flores and wife Chelsy, of Amarillo, TX; grandson, Jimmy Stover and partner Deja Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Alejandra, Jahn, Aleyna, Noah, and Jimmy III.

The family would like to thank the staff at High Plains Senior Care for their help and care of Eliseo in the transition to his Eternal Promise.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:30 P.M., Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
