Our dear mother ended a difficult journey over the last five long months. She fought so hard. We are so proud of her, but she is now free of pain and can finally rest in peace with our father whom she loved so fiercely. She will now be with our sister, Grace, who she missed every day. Our mother shared her immense love not only with her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren, but also with her nieces and nephews. She was our example of a strong woman of faith who prayed for all of us every night without fail. We will miss you, our sweet and fierce mother.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Galan, of Fort Worth, TX, and Sandra White and husband John, of San Antonio, TX; a son, Steve Galan and wife Carolyn, of Amarillo, TX; nine grandchildren, Matt Ollinger, Leslie Galan, Lauren Nevarez, Rachel Williams, David White, Ben White, Samantha Malatesta, Isaac Galan, and Evan Galan; and nine great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Madison Ollinger, Faith Nevarez, Carlos and Harrison Williams; Makinley and Vince Malatesta; and Noah and Kaelene White.
