Everett “Buster” Lee Scott, Jr, 72, of Hoisington, KS died Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
No services will be held. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Buster was born October 24, 1949, in Montezuma, KS to Irma and Everett Scott, Sr. He lived in Hoisington, KS and only recently moved to Amarillo.
Buster was a track foreman for the railroad, a truck driver, and loved working on anything with an engine. He enjoyed drag racing, family gatherings (especially the 4th of July), and flying his plane.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randy.
Survivors include his son, Everett Lee Scott III and wife Tricia, of Amarillo, TX; a daughter, Mary Tran, of Pueblo, CO; three brothers, Leon Soctt, and Donnie Scott and wife Peggy, all of Great Bend, KS, and Tom Scott, of Hoisington, KS; sisters, Emma Linsner, of Great Bend, KS, Shirley Taylor, of Jay, OK, and Ruby Brox, of Amarillo, TX; and seven grandchildren.
