On Wednesday, July 29, 2021, Janice Carole Oliver passed from this life into eternity with our Lord.
Janice was born in Vernon, TX on November 29, 1939, to Bill and Wilma Oliver. Janice was involved in many school activities in her youth. She enjoyed playing the piano all her life and was also quite creative in artwork. Through the years, she was involved in the family saddle business and became well known as a chap maker making many beautiful pairs. Janice began attending Hobbs Plaza in 1986 and made many close friends that she loved dearly.
Janice is survived by two brothers, Billy Oliver and wife Donna along with Richard Oliver and wife Sharon, all of Amarillo, TX; a niece, Dana and husband Steven Logsdon, of Amarillo, TX; three nephews and spouse, Bryan Oliver and wife Elisha, and Zeb Oliver and wife Amy, all of Amarillo, and William Oliver and wife Sherma, of Tucson, AZ.
12/19/21 – I thought about Janice this morning, as I have many times over the years, and decided to see if I could find her, to see if she was still in Amarillo. I’m so sad to hear that she passed only a few months ago. We lost touch, but I never forgot her, and some memories still make me laugh to this day. Rest In Peace, my friend.
