Joseph Aaron Ezekiel Contreras, 29, of Amarillo died Friday, August 13, 2021.
Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Power Church with Ezekiel Contreras and Manny De Los Santos officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Joseph was born on March 23, 1992 in San Antonio, Texas to Delia and Pablo Sanchez, Jr. He had worked at Suddenlink in sales. He was also co-owner of Better Than B 4 Construction.
He loved to barbecue, electronics and video games and most of all his family. He had a sense of humor. People were drawn to him and made friends easily. He was intelligent and wise. Joseph was a good provider for his family.
Joseph was preceded in death by his grandfather, Pablo Sanchez.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Contreras; son, Adrian Salas; daughter, Kairi Contreras; mom, Delia Ann Contreras; dad, Pablo Sanchez, Jr.; sister, Christine Sanchez; two brothers, Nicholas and Nathan Johnson; grandparents, Ezekiel Contreras and Patricia; and Bessie Sanchez; mother-in-law, Jo Ann Solis, all of Amarillo.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
