Julia J. Gonzalez, 65, of Dumas, TX went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 11, 2021.

A rosary service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cactus. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cactus with Father Victor Hugo officiating.
Burial will be at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Julia was born on November 8, 1955, in Sugarland, Texas to Elias and Frances Jalomo. She had worked as a CNA for many years. She always put others first and was very loving and caring to all who knew her. She had lived in Cactus and Dumas for over thirty-five years and was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cactus.
She loved crafting and making floral arrangements.

She married Pablo Gonzalez in Dumas in 2004. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2021.

She was also preceded in death by her mother, Frances Jalomo; her first husband, Adolfo Rodriquez; and a brother Sammy Jalomo.

She is survived by a son, Angelo Rodriguez and wife Lucia; three daughters, Monica Rodriguez and husband Ricardo, April Hyndman and Bret, and Rene Moreno and late husband Wayne; her father, Elias Jalomo Sr.; three step-sons, Pablo Gonzales and wife Yadira of Woodbridge, Va., Marcos Gonzalez and wife Krissy of Boerne, Tx., and Luz Gonzalez and wife Elaine of Dayton, Oh.; two step-daughters, Lucia Helms and husband Evan Sr. of Papillion, Ne., and Maria Alvarez and husband Miguel Jr. of Moling, Il.; four brothers, Elias Jalomo Jr., Lupe Jalomo, Rique Jalomo, and Larry Jalomo; four sisters, Amada Jalomo, Mary Fuentes, Olivia Jalomo, and Susanna Fuentes; twenty grandchildren; thirteen step-grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
