Maggie was born in Plainview, TX on August 26, 1957, to Luis and Isabel Amador.

Maggie could light up a room with just her presence. She had a flair for the finer things in life. She was a hard worker in various fields; hairdresser, jeweler, ice cream truck driver, and so many others, which led her to her passion to be a teacher.

Maggie attended Texas Tech University where she got her Masters in Bilingual Education, Major in English and Minor in Psychology. In her later years, she was an Executive Administrator at Baylor College of Medicine.

She believed in Faith, Family & Friends and in that order!

Maggie was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, Godmother, Comadre, and sister-in-law. She was a natural-born teacher, up until her very last breath. She was an inspiration through all her pain and suffering…she would get up, show up, and get made up!  She had a natural fighting spirit determined, driven, strong-willed, steadfast, and purposeful. If she was told “no”, she would do it anyway!

Maggie was far greater than all her illnesses, by the Grace of God and her unshakable faith! Maggie was a fighter, survivor, A Miracle…

She was loved by so many and left an imprint forever on our hearts!

She was preceded in death by her daughter, L. Monique’ Flores; fur baby, “Gucci”; parents, Luis and Isabel Amador; sister, Janie Amador; brother, Michael Amador; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Patricio Flores.
