Oleta Lanham, 91, of Amarillo, TX died Monday, June 28, 2021.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Childress Cemetery in Childress, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Oleta was born September 12, 1929, in Childress, TX to Marks and Lillian Leach.
She was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ.
Her husband, Bill W. Lanham, and her daughter, Devra Herrera, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Stacy Lanham-LaHera, of San Antonio, TX, Billy Lanham, of Childress, TX, Marks D. Lanham, of Grandview, TX, Marks A. Lanham, of Denver, CO, Mason Lanham, of Tuttle, OK, and McRay Lanham, of Spring, TX; a brother, Dan Leach, of Rosenberg, TX; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Oleta was blessed to live a long life with many friends. I had her on my Carey School Reunion list to mail her an invitation to this years reunion. I lived in Carey in the 40s 50s like the Lanhams. God bless you at this time with memories of her love for you.
