Oralia Rios, 78, of Amarillo, TX went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2022.
Memorial services will be at 6:00 P.M., Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Power Church, 1344 SE 10th Ave.
Oralia was born in Ralls, TX on October 11, 1943, to Francisca Hernandez and Juan Flores.
Oralia loved unconditionally and made an impact on everyone that she was in the same room with. She made everyone feel like family because to her that’s exactly what they were.
She was a spunky little lady with a personality miles taller than her. Though she was a fighter she was caring and passionate, always making sure to be intentional with those around her. Most importantly Oralia lived her faith out loud, she shared her love for God with everyone around her. She lived and breathed the motto “Love God and love people.” She was a preacher, evangelist, and missionary to people all over the U.S and into Mexico.
Oralia has now been reunited with her loving husband of 64 years.
She was preceded in death by a son, Eliseo Rios Jr.; two grandsons, Eliseo Rios III, and Ernesto Rios; a granddaughter, Erica Willams; and husband Eliseo Rios.
Survivors include her two daughters, Eudelia Rios, of Denton, TX, and Evett Lopez and husband Ross, of Littlefield, TX; sons, Efrain Rios and wife Kathy, Edward Rios and wife Melissa, Elias Rios and wife Rosa, all of Amarillo, TX, Ezekiel Rios and Jeanette of Littlefield, TX, and Eli Rios, of Washougal, WA; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
On behalf of the Canales-Ramirez family we send our deepest condolences to the family. It hurts to know that the body of my aunt is gone from this earth but I know her soul is rejecting with the Lord along with my grandma, great grandma and other aunts. She will be greatly missed and NEVER forgotten. RIP Tia 💖💖💖
My sincere condolences and prayers for you and all the family and friends.
Sincerely,
Rosemarie Schmitt
She was a delight with her presence here at St Stephen UMC. We love our mammas, don’t we?
Tia thank you for all the memories and for sharing your love. Thank you for teaching us all how to serve the Lord. And for showing us how to keep our faith only in him. We know that you are in a better place. You may be gone but will never be forgotten. Until we all are reunited again. Rest in paradise Tia. 🙏
