Rachael Marie Briones, 65, of Amarillo, TX died Saturday, May 1, 2021.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Rachael was born July 3, 1955, in Portland, OR to Rosendo and Lillian Ornelas. She was a loving person who would help anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Briones; her father, Rosendo Lopez Ornelas; her mother, Lillian Estrada; and two brothers, Russell and Raymond Ornelas.
Survivors include brothers, Michael and Richard Ornelas, both of Amarillo, TX; sister, Jennifer Soto and husband Danny, of Tucson, AZ; sons, Michael Saiz, and Steven Briones, both of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Dione Briones, of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Eric Bonner, Alexis Bonner, Joel McPherson, and Xavier Poulin; and a great-grandchild, Ezequiel Bonner.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
