Rodger Lee Watson, 80, of Amarillo, TX died Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 12, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Rodger was born October 19, 1941, in Oklahoma City, OK to Garvin and Thelma Watson. He was a Ranger Army Medic and retired from a military career in the Army
He was preceded in death by his son, Rodger Del Watson, in 1993; and his wife Merry Watson, in 2020.
Survivors include his son, William Watson, and wife Kathy, of San Antonio, TX; granddaughters, Jatana Watson and Ashley Wilson; five great-grandkids; a brother, Lonnie Watson, of Mustang, OK; two sisters, LaNita Holland, and Leona Watson, both of Mustang, OK; and stepmom, LaVerna Watson, of Mustang, OK.
